Murphy's Autocare Comes to Centerville
In 2021, Murphy's Autocare expanded from its original Beavercreek home to open a second location right in the heart of Centerville. You'll find us at 100 N Main Street — a few blocks from the Centerville Public Library and just a short drive from the Washington Township RecPlex. If you've walked Main Street on a weekend or caught one of the seasonal events downtown, you've likely passed right by us.
The Centerville shop was built on the same foundation that's made the Beavercreek location a community fixture since 1974: experienced technicians, transparent communication, and service that doesn't try to sell you what you don't need.
What to Expect When You Come In
From the moment you pull into our lot on Main Street, the process is straightforward. You'll speak with a service advisor who listens to what you're experiencing with your vehicle — not a script, but an actual conversation. We ask questions, we look under the hood, and we go from there.
Before any repair work begins, our technicians complete a digital vehicle inspection. They photograph and document what they find — brakes, tires, belts, fluids, suspension components — and send the full report to your phone. You see everything they see, with color-coded status indicators. Green is fine, yellow is worth watching, red needs attention. Nothing gets repaired without your explicit approval.
It's a process that eliminates the guesswork and the unpleasant surprises that come with picking up your vehicle and seeing a bill you weren't prepared for.

Getting Here
We're on North Main Street in downtown Centerville, right in the mix of local shops and restaurants that make this neighborhood one of the most walkable spots in the Dayton area. Turn left on South Main Street and follow it north into downtown — we're on the right side about a half mile past the library.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Centerville location the same quality as the Beavercreek shop?
Yes. Both locations operate under the same ownership and standards. Murphy's has been in Beavercreek since 1974, and when the Centerville shop opened in 2021, the goal was to bring that same level of care to the south Dayton suburbs. Same certifications, same inspection process, same approach to customer service.
What areas do you serve from the Centerville location?
We serve customers throughout Centerville, Washington Township, Miamisburg, Springboro, Kettering, and the surrounding communities. Many people who work or live on the south side of Dayton find the Main Street location more convenient than making the drive to Beavercreek.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Scheduling an appointment is the best way to guarantee we have time reserved for your vehicle. Call us at 937-433-0140 or book online. Walk-ins are welcome when our schedule allows, but an appointment means less waiting.
What makes Murphy's different from a chain shop?
We're independent and family-owned. There's no franchise quota or pressure to push specific products. Your service advisor has real conversations with you about what your car needs — and what it doesn't. The technicians who work on your vehicle are the same people you could speak with directly if you had questions.
We're open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Stop by 100 N Main Street or call 937-433-0140 to get your vehicle scheduled.
