Huber Heights Auto Repair — Trusted Service Worth the Drive

Huber Heights is one of the largest suburbs in the Dayton area, with nearly 38,000 residents spread across neighborhoods that run right up to the edge of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. It's a busy, working community — Wayne High School, the Kroger Aquatic Center, Rose Music Center — and the people who live here take their vehicles seriously. Whether you're commuting into Dayton, running kids to school on Little York Road, or driving base access routes on a daily schedule, your car has to be ready.

Murphy's Autocare has been serving the greater Dayton area since Dave Murphy opened the Beavercreek location in 1974. That's over 50 years of independent, family-owned auto repair — no corporate playbook, no upsell pressure, just honest work from technicians who know their trade.

Getting to Murphy's from Huber Heights

Our Beavercreek shop is the closest Murphy's location to Huber Heights, and the drive is straightforward — about 20 minutes depending on traffic.

The most direct route: take I-70 East to I-675 South (Exit 41), then exit at Colonel Glenn Highway (Exit 17) heading east. You'll hit the intersection with Dayton-Xenia Rd in about a mile and a half. We're on the left at 3815 Dayton-Xenia Rd — right at that intersection, easy to spot.

Why Huber Heights Drivers Choose Murphy's

Chain shops are everywhere — you'll find them clustered around every major shopping corridor in the metro. But chain shops run on volume and quotas. Murphy's runs on something different: the same owner, the same standards, the same commitment to the community that's been in place since 1974.

Our technicians are ASE certified, and our senior techs hold the Master Certified designation — the highest credential in the industry. They work on all makes and models, from the pickup trucks and SUVs common in Huber Heights to everyday commuters and hybrid vehicles.

Services we perform at both locations include:

  • Oil changes and factory-scheduled maintenance
  • Brake inspection, service, and rotor replacement
  • Tire rotation, balancing, and replacement
  • Engine diagnostics and repair
  • Transmission service
  • Shocks, struts, and alignment
  • Air conditioning repair and recharge
  • Timing belt and accessory drive belt replacement

Digital Vehicle Inspections

When your vehicle comes in, our technicians run a full digital inspection. They photograph and document what they find — brakes, tires, fluids, belts, hoses, suspension components — and send the complete report to your phone. Color-coded status: green means good, yellow means watch it, red means it needs attention now.

You see exactly what they see before a single repair is authorized. Nothing gets done without your go-ahead. No surprises, no pressure calls from the waiting room.

Shuttle Service

Drop off your vehicle in the morning and let us get you to work, home, or wherever you need to be. We offer complimentary shuttle service for customers who need to keep moving while their car is with us. Just let us know when you schedule your appointment.
