Fleet Maintenance for Dayton Businesses

Murphy's Autocare maintains business fleets from two family-owned shops: Beavercreek on the east side and Centerville on the south side. Each vehicle gets a maintenance schedule, a tracked service history, and a digital inspection, and no repair starts until someone on your side approves it. Both shops are open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Call Beavercreek at 937-426-2886 or Centerville at 937-433-0140.

Which Murphy's shop should my fleet use?

Either one; both have the same owners, certified technicians, and warranty. Fleets based on the east side, near Beavercreek, Fairborn, Xenia, or Wright-Patt, usually use the Beavercreek shop. Its fleet page is Beavercreek fleet solutions. Fleets on the south side, near Kettering, Centerville, Miamisburg, or Springboro, usually use the Centerville shop.

How often should fleet vehicles be serviced?

On a schedule set for each vehicle from its mileage and how it is used. Start from the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual, and use its severe-service schedule if the manual lists one for your kind of driving. A van that idles at job sites and a pickup that tows wear differently from a car on the highway, so they rarely need the same interval.

Two tools make the schedule fit each vehicle:

  • Service history. The shop tracks what was done on each vehicle and what is coming due, so nothing is missed when drivers change.
  • Oil analysis. An on-site test with a Spectro Scientific MicroLab 30 shows whether an engine's oil can run longer or needs changing sooner, and whether wear metals point to a mechanical problem. See Dayton oil analysis.

What does fleet-maintained mean?

A fleet-maintained vehicle is serviced on a set schedule, with a record of every visit. At Murphy's that means:

  1. Baseline inspection. Each vehicle gets a digital vehicle inspection, with photos and video sent to your phone or email, to set its starting point and schedule.
  2. Approval before work. You sort what has to be done now from what can wait. No repair starts until someone on your side approves it.
  3. Drivers keep moving. A complimentary shuttle can take a driver to work or back to the yard while the vehicle is in the bay.
  4. A record per vehicle. The service history stays with each vehicle, so a new driver or fleet manager can see what was done.

Running a fleet? Call Beavercreek at 937-426-2886 or Centerville at 937-433-0140 and tell the service advisor how many vehicles you run, or book online.

How much does fleet maintenance cost?

It depends on the vehicles and the work, so Murphy's quotes it per fleet. Call either shop with the number and type of vehicles you run. Each repair is priced and approved before work starts, so there is no surprise on the invoice.
