Murphy's Autocare Given Award
On September 9, 2015, Murphy's Autocare was presented with an award by the 445th wing commander and Chaplain Corps for our continued support of the men and women of the 445th stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Dayton, Ohio. The award recognized our support for our community through donations of restored vehicles with Charity Cars and our involvement in the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association (MVMAA).

The 445th at Wright-Patterson
The 445th Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve unit based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Its reservists balance military duty with civilian jobs and families here in the Miami Valley. The wing's chaplains support those airmen and their families through deployments, training, and the stress that comes with both.
How Murphy's supports military families
- Restored vehicles through Charity Cars. Murphy's Autocare repairs donated vehicles so they can go to families who need reliable transportation. Read about another donated vehicle.
- The Miami Valley Military Affairs Association. The MVMAA connects the Dayton business community with Wright-Patterson and the people who serve there.
- Service built around military schedules. Deployments, temporary duty, and PCS moves put unusual demands on a vehicle. Our Wright-Patterson AFB auto repair page covers how the Beavercreek shop helps airmen and their families.
